THE tennis section of the British Games Club held its annual Easter Bunny fun tournament on a beautifully sunny morning set against the backdrop of a snow-covered Mount Teide.
With Easter falling so late this year there were fewer entries than usual but it made no difference to the quality of the play or to the fun enjoyed by all.
The winning man and woman, who each took home an Easter egg for their efforts, were Steph Merton and Ken Sheldon (pictured right).
A celebratory lunch was held at the Mirador de la Villa restaurant, La Orotava, which was well attended by players and guests.
There was the usual raffle with a huge number of prizes (pictured top right) and a big ‘well done’ goes to captain Maxine for making the event such a resounding success.
