Social events and lively activities
MOST of the activities of the British Games Club are centred around the tennis club, Centro Deportivo y de Ocio – more usually known locally as Alvaro's – in the El Botanico area of Puerto de la Cruz.
Membership of the British Games Club is just ten euros a year, although the bowls and tennis sections also have their own additional playing fees. Mahjong players also pay a supplement to take part in their sessions.
Detailed information about all of these activities can be found elsewhere on this website by following the appropriate links.
Alvaro's has a wide range of facilities, including a full bar offering a full range of meals, drinks, and snacks.
Bar food is available all day and there are good views of Teide from the bar and terrace.
